How to Use the Sequencer

WORKSTATION WORKFLOW & PRO TRICKS
  • Step Toggle: Click any step square to turn a hit on or off for that pad.
  • Drag to Sustain Period: Click and drag across multiple squares in a row to set an extended note length. The clip will play for that entire selected period.
  • Instant Audition: Releasing a drag selection immediately previews the pad clip for the full selected duration at current BPM.
  • Side-by-Side PC Workflow: On desktop, the sequencer aligns directly alongside the 16 performance pads for rapid beatmaking.
  • Real-Time Quantized Rec: Click Rec to Grid and tap keys [A]-[P] or MIDI pads while the loop plays to punch in rhythms live.
  • Sampler Voice Modes:
    · KIT: Classic drum kit with choke groups (closed hats choke open hats)
    · CHOP: 1-voice solo slicer mode where every new trigger cuts prior audio
    · POLY: Full polyphony where all triggered pads ring out together
  • Pattern Banks (A / B / C / D): Build up to 4 different pattern variations and switch between them on the fly.
  • Swing & Pocket: Use the Swing slider (50% straight to 75% heavy swing) to add human MPC bounce.
  • Track BPM Sync: Tap Sync Track BPM to immediately lock tempo with your imported sample.
  • Export Seamless Loop: Click Export Loop WAV to render a 32-bit zero-drift master loop WAV file.
  • Spacebar Shortcut: Press [Spacebar] anytime on the Pads tab to start or pause the loop.
  • Panic Button: Click ■ PANIC (or press [Esc]) to instantly silence all active voices.
Pro Tip: Select Active Pad view to zoom in on single-pad micro-timing.
